Benefits of last ten days of Ramadan
The journey of Ramadan has come to an end with three days. It won't take long for you to do things that you are not doing very well. The rest of the day you can still get amazing rewards, you will make up for the twenty days lost in eternity despite the epidemic. Ask forgiveness for your sins, pray to God for all your desires, and commit yourself to worshiping day and night, as you have never done before.
Given the plight of most Muslims today, Ramadan is celebrated with joy through work, business and stress-building methods, those who really know the benefits in this era break all the barriers to worldly affairs. And get away with a short break. Work, business for Allah. It's full of rewards you can't even imagine. They start i'tikaaf (solitude) for the rest of the period to strengthen their relationship with Allah.
This period should be spent in prayer, seeking His mercy and asking for forgiveness, studying the Qur'an and meditating on one's deeds.
I'tikaf, in this era of Ramadan, is one of the best traditions of Islam, the spark of which has become a very popular issue. This is an act that has existed in Islam since the earliest days of revelation, and there is also some recognition and recognition because of the narration of the Prophet of Islam which has been compiled by Allah Almighty.
I'tikaaf means staying in the mosque for the sake of Allah. The purpose of such a stay in the mosque is to be close to Abduh and Allah. There is no need for anything other than observing the Nawafil during I'tikaaf, reciting the Qur'an, dhikr and dhikr of Allah. Those who cannot succeed in isolating themselves should use this period as a very good prohib in approaching Allah, obeying His commands and abstaining from those who obey Him.
This night opens the doors of its treasures. By the permission of Allah, the angels descended in peace, the most important thing is that the blessing will remain with us till dawn.
The Prophet (SAW) said: "Whoever prays to Allah on the night of greatness with faith and with the hope of reward from Allah, all his past sins are forgiven." (Bukhari)
This holy and most blessed night is going to fall on one of the strange nights in the last 10 days of Ramadan and therefore the reward of worshiping on this night is better than worshiping for a thousand months, like keeping a person together for life .
Although odd nights are given as a sign to discover the greatness of the night, not a single night has been fixed so that the yearning for it may increase and people may spend more nights in the worship of Allah. The reason for I'tikaaf (loneliness) during the last 10 days of Ramadan is that we can find the night and reap the benefits.
“Allahumma innaka afuwwun tuhib-bul af-wa, fa-afu anni”
Observing I'tikaf:
Ramadan fasting is prescribed for all Muslims to develop their souls and control their physical hunger. So much hard work and sacrifice of sexual desires has been imposed on every Muslim. That he does not eat, drink or seek sexual satisfaction during the entire blessed month in obedience to the command of Allah and abstains from all kinds of sinful acts in this process.
It is the month of Ramadan and the overall course of spiritual training and self-purification for higher spiritual growth that makes I'tikaaf (solitude) necessary. It is narrated in a hadith narrated by Abu Dawud, 2473: “The Sunnah for the mu’takif is not to visit any sick person, or attend any funeral, or touch or be intimate with any woman, or go out for any reason except those which cannot be avoided”. The conditions for joining I'tikaf are:
- Mental condition: Thus, the person should be mentally stable; Faith (Iman): The belief is that there is only one thing that distinguishes a non-Muslim and therefore a Muslim who observes I'tikaaf.
- Permission: I'tikaaf with his wife and other family members can violate the marital rights of this person if their consent is not sought. It is important for the patient to get permission from his or her spouse or family before traveling. Similarly, if one's parents are not happy about his absence for a day, then the Muslim is not allowed to proceed for this worship. One must have the permission of the person or family for whom he is responsible.
- Intention: I'tikaaf is obligatory. Achieving closeness to God and not being arrogant or under pressure from society, family or peers should be done.
- Fasting(Sawm) during I'tikaaf: A person who does not fast for any reason is deprived of this worship. Therefore, if a person is a traveler or does not fast due to some obstacle, he cannot participate in I'tikaaf.
- Venue: This must be done in a mosque that has the required facilities and where Friday is celebrated. One should stay inside the mosque for the whole period for one's I'tikaaf to be valid.
Aisha: “There should be no Itikaf except during a mosque during which prayers in congregation are held.”
Women may be in a state of i'tikaaf in mosques where prayers are not offered in congregation, as it is not necessary to offer prayers in congregation. If a person is too ill to attend to his nature, he can leave the mosque.
The duration of I'tikaaf varies from a few moments to several days. There is no specific period in Shari'ah for I'tikaaf. Even so, owning one is still beyond the reach of the average person. But it should be noted that in fact, one of the major reasons for I'tikaaf is the search for Layl ul Qadr. Therefore, it is necessary to stay in I'tikaaf during the last ten days of Ramadan.
